Dr. Allan Moskow was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania and later lived in Cherry Hill, New Jersey with his family before attending Temple University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1976. After spending a year in graduate school for Molecular Biology/Genetics, he shifted gears and entered dental school at Temple University. After graduating from dental school in 1981, he entered the Endodontology Program at Temple University. As the only student accepted from his class of 151 students to enter the program, he was able to study under Dr. Sam Seltzer, an internationally known educator and researcher that was key in helping define the biologic basics of Endodontics.
In 1986, Dr. Moskow moved to South Florida and opened his office as the first dental specialist and first Endodontist in Boynton Beach. He went on to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 1992 along with becoming one of the first members of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Moskow is also a proud Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.
Dr. Moskow is current a faculty member and an adjunct clinical professor in the Graduate Endodontic Program at NOVA University School of Dentistry in Davie, Florida.
Dr. Moskow and his wife Karen live happily in Boynton Beach and have 5 adult children, all with varied interest and professions.
